Before the Test

  • Remind students to have several Number 2 pencils and smudge free erasers.
  • Separate the students to make testing easier.
    • Suggestion- place students in ABC order for quick distribution and collection
  • Make sure you have all your testing materials:
    • Teacher Editions
    • Student Editions
  • Please note some books say Common Core and some say College Ready but they are the same book.

 During the Test

  • Make sure testing materials are locked away from students.
  • Try to start the testing by 8:45 AM daily so most classes are finished around the same time.
  • Please note any irregularities during the test.
  • Make sure “Testing in Progress” sign is affixed to your door.
  • At the conclusion of testing, collect all student testing materials, including scratch paper, and make sure to collect materials in ABC order.

After the Test

  • Make sure to go through each test booklet page by page and erase any stray marks (any marks may give an invalid score).
  • Make sure the booklet is complete and in order.
  • Affix the label to the booklet.
  • Once all students in your class have concluded the tests and books are in order, please send them to the Test Coordinator.
  • If a student is absent for any section of the test, begin make up testing as soon as the student returns to school. This should be completed in the morning, but we will figure out timings.
